Pregnancy is a marathon, not a sprint.

You will be offered ways to move your body that are safe for you and your growing bump.

You will feel tightness and uncomfortable sensations in your body start to fade as you open up and create space for your growing bump & body.

You can maintain your strength or even build strength with the goal of supporting your body as it changes in pregnancy and then cares for a little one in your postnatal journey.

Kirsti always has a class planned to share with you but it always changes.

She is very responsive to the needs of the yoginis that are in the class and will change or mix things up to give you what you need.

Kirsti aims for you to always leave feeling better than when you sat down on your mat.

Pregnancy Yoga Courses

How do you know if this course is for you? 

This course is designed for people who are 12+ weeks pregnant that want to learn about the changes of the body & hormones through pregnancy whilst moving their body to feel better every day.

No prior yoga experience is needed.

 

Course Outline:

Classes have a specific focus every week that leads into a flowing sequence combining everything you’ve explored so you can lock the movement & breathwork into your body and really feel the difference.

Be guided through a range of movement patterns to:

  • Relieve lower back pain

  • Support any sciatica that may have arisen

  • Open the chest and “un-round” the shoulders

  • Stabilise & strengthen the pelvis

  • Connect with the pelvic floor

  • Gently open up the pelvis in preparation for labour & birth

 

Each class will include:

  • Breathwork

  • Intention setting

  • Flowing sequences with options to increase physical & mental challenges.

  • Relaxation

 

You will:

  • Gain a better understanding of the hormonal & physiological changes in the body through pregnancy.

  • Learn about breathwork options to support you through pregnancy and through labour.

  • Connect with other people on the journey to parenthood.
