How does an online yoga class work?
Do you get a little nervous when you think about joining an online yoga class for the first time?
Here’s what you can expect to help you feel more comfortable and take away some of the unknown.
The Pros and Cons of Flexibility
There are so many images out there that have created the expectation that yoga is for the skinny, twisty, bendy people but that isn’t that case.
People who aren’t flexible often say that they can’t do yoga because they can’t touch their toes and I say nah-ah. If you’re that person, you have a strong & stable body and that is brilliant.
Are you struggling to find balance?
Do you ever find yourself in that push, push, push, do, do, do mode?
My question to you is.. do you allow yourself time for recovery?
You are invited to join a Strong & Spacious recovery flow.
Can you move a little slower?
You are invited to step on the mat for a slow yoga flow to open up your hips, spine, chest, & shoulders, connecting with your breath, all while creating a little direction in your day.
And you can do all of that in just 15 minutes. That doesn’t sound too bad now, does it?
What does a Yoga Teacher look like?
Media and advertising would have you believe that all yogis are one size and that size is small.
But what does a Yoga Teacher look like if you’re not flicking through the curated boxes of Social Media or flicking the pages of a magazine? We look just like you. We come in all different shapes, sizes, colours, and ages.
Where does your anger go?
Recently a friend was talking with me about the anger that she was feeling. It has been there for years. She had felt it bubbling up but she didn’t know what it was. She didn’t where know to put it.
Your (In)Flexible Body
More flexibility is one of the most common goals of people that join my yoga classes. And even better, it’s definitely something that my students achieve.
